January Newsletter - 1198, Racing, New Monster, Trackdays...

My first newsletter of 2009, let’s hope it warms up soon! We have had a great start to the year and have been as busy as ever so plenty to tell you about.

What’s new this year then…

DUCATI 1198S arrives ahead of time!

Our first 1198 arrives this week and we are taking booking for test rides now! We have one of the first in the UK coming to our showroom and it is the highly anticipated S model. The press have been raving about this bike, so much more than a bigger 1098. Full specs and pics on our website.

The Monster 1100S is now in the showroom and our demonstrator has the racing Termignoni silencers fitted so now looks, goes and sounds superb. Call anytime for a ride. I love this bike and have been enjoying the odd dry day on it, test ride recommended!

Trackdays: After the success of last years track fun we are now planning a few trackdays for this year. With plans to go to Brands Hatch, Rockingham, Cadwell and Donnington, so if you fancy trying your Ducati on the track just let me know and I’ll send you the details when they are finalised, we are planning on being able to help with bike transport and accommodation as before. If you have not been on track before its great fun and far removed from racing. Come in anytime for a coffee and a chat about what happens on a track day with us.

Moto Rapido Racing 2009: It is now confirmed that we will be racing this year, more details as soon as it’s finalised and contracts signed (I’ll send the info out in about a week)

Ducati at the London Show:

Ducati are showing the 2009 range at the Excel show in London next week and they have arranged a special evening for invited guests. When the show closes to the public at 5pm invited guests will be allowed to remain behind on the Ducati stand to view the 2009 range in detail without the masses that crowd the popular stand during the day.

The VIP evening will be from 5pm-7.30pm on Thursday 29th January and refreshments will be provided.

The evening is of course free of charge but you will need to have an entry ticket to enjoy the full show before the special evening starts. A pre-booked adult entry ticket is £10.00 (a reduction from £14.00). We can of course arrange this for you if required, just email or call me and I can arrange it for you.

Numbers are limited so please let me know by the end of this week if you would like to join us and I will forward you your VIP pass and arrange your entry ticket if required.
